Kentwood Redesign: Drones, Real Time Market Trends & More

Kentwood Real Estate launched their redesigned site last week that boasts a fully responsive design, and a clean look and feel that emphasizes full-screen photography.

When a user lands on the homepage, they gain real time access to the latest Denver market trends through Kentwood’s market stats controller. This feature updates every 15 minutes and displays the current number of new listings, reduced price properties, sold listings, properties under contract, and total number of listings.

For comparison, the homepage shares the previous months stats at the bottom of the page to show recent activity in the market.

Other site enhancements include:

Single Scroll Homepage

The single scroll layout of the homepage highlights important features related to the home buying and selling process. Users can easily find information related to Kentwood’s account area, open house search and more.

Property Counter

The quick search on the homepage includes a property counter that updates the number of available listings and open houses as you enter your desired criteria.

Drone Flyby Technology

Kentwood invested in two drones and are taking advantage of this technology on the site’s Flyby feature. When visiting a property details page or Individual Property Website, simply click the “Flyby” button to be directed to a property video that showcases an aerial view of the home and surrounding area. This provides a real-world visual display of the company’s listings that is unmatched in the real estate industry. The video below is one example of a Kentwood property video using drone technology.

Photocentric Property Websites

Because photos are an important component when it comes to buying and selling homes, the property details pages and IPWs were designed with large, quality photography in mind. One of the biggest challenges Kentwood faced was the inability to share large photos due to MLS restrictions. Therefore, a feature was developed in the admin area to allow Kentwood agents to upload larger, high resolution images for all Kentwood listings. This gives Kentwood the ability to to better showcase each property’s unique features and characteristic through professional photography.

Agents have two layout options for their IPWs; both focus on quality photos and video integration, along with easy callouts for contacting the listing agent, adding notes to the account area, location information and much more.

Communities Pages

Kentwood revamped their community pages to show thumbnails of each community they represent for easy viewing. The new design also compliments the look and feel of their online magazine, creating a seamless experience for their online customers.

Additionally, they updated content for over 50 of their local communities to provide better insight and details of Denver neighborhoods and help with their local SEO.

Next Steps

In the coming weeks, Kentwood plans to release apps for Android, iPhone and iPad. The apps will allow users to easily search for homes on the go through the latest mobile technology available in the industry.

These are just a few of the enhancements made to Kentwood’s site. We encourage you all to check it out for yourself by visiting them online at
